By February 1, 2026, the Department of Transportation must submit a detailed report to the Legislative Transportation Committee, which may then propose legislation based on the findings. The bill aims to develop a more integrated, accessible, and sustainable transportation system that meets the diverse mobility needs of Maine residents.
