This bill amends existing law concerning redevelopment in Boston's Roxbury neighborhood by redefining the "Roxbury Trust Fund Committee." The committee's size, membership, and term lengths will be determined by the Trustees of the Roxbury Trust Fund Committee Trust, but it must include the current State Senator for the district and the current State Representatives for the district, or their chosen designees, as non-voting members for most purposes. These ex officio members will, however, be able to vote on changes to the Trust's governing document. The bill clarifies that the committee can exercise all necessary powers to fulfill its charitable, scientific, literary, or educational purposes, including raising and spending funds to support these goals.
