This bill authorizes the town of Milford to grant one additional license for the sale of wine and malt beverages, specifically for consumption off the premises, to Water Street Meat Market, LLC at their location at 3 Water Street. This is an exception to existing law, which generally limits the number of such licenses a town can issue. The license will be subject to all other regulations in Chapter 138 of the General Laws, and it cannot be transferred to a different location. The license can be re-issued at the same location if the applicant demonstrates they are in good standing with the department of revenue and have paid all applicable taxes. If the license is no longer in use, it can be returned to the licensing authority and re-issued to a new applicant at the same location under the same conditions.
