This bill allows the Massachusetts Department of Correction to establish a special sick leave bank for Wallace Seward, an employee of the department, overriding any existing general or special laws that might prevent this. Other employees of the department can voluntarily donate their sick, personal, or vacation days to this bank for Wallace Seward's use. If Wallace Seward leaves the department or the bank is dissolved, any unused days will be moved to the department's extended illness leave bank. Importantly, the days in this specific bank can only be used for the illness or disability that led to its creation, as determined by the department.
