This bill authorizes the City of Salem to take specific actions regarding liquor licenses, allowing it to grant one additional license for the sale of all alcoholic beverages to be drunk on the premises to ZXE, LLC, d/b/a Merchant Hotel, and another additional license for wine and malt beverages to be drunk on the premises to Brew on the Grid Salem, LLC, d/b/a Brew on the Grid. Furthermore, it permits the conversion of a currently issued seasonal license for all alcoholic beverages to be drunk on the premises, held by Salem BC, LLC, d/b/a Bonchon, into an annual license, and waives the requirement for abutters to be notified for conversions of seasonal wine and malt licenses to annual ones.
