This bill proposes several fee and surcharge reductions, including: - Deleting the fee for a commission of an elected officer by the Governor and the fee for a claim for refund of the tax on motor fuel. - Exempting a surviving spouse from the fee to transfer a motor vehicle title. - Eliminating the application fee and fees for certain examinations for an initial Florida Professional Educator's Certificate, starting in the 2017-2018 fiscal year, subject to appropriated funding. - Waiving one subject area examination fee for an applicant for the initial Florida Professional Educator's Certificate, starting in the 2017-2018 fiscal year, subject to appropriated funding. - Eliminating the fee for renewing a Florida Professional Educator's Certificate for certified teachers employed at Florida public schools, starting in the 2017-2018 fiscal year, subject to appropriated funding. - Reducing the surcharge associated with the enforcement of the Florida Building Code from 1.5% to 1%.
