This bill authorizes the town of Montague to grant an additional liquor license for the sale of wines and malt beverages to be consumed on the premises. The license will be granted to Mystic Pinball, LLC or its successors, and is subject to the provisions of Chapter 138 of the Massachusetts General Laws, except for the limitation on the number of licenses. The license cannot be transferred to another location, but it can be transferred to a new applicant at the same location if the new applicant is in good standing with the Department of Revenue and the Department of Unemployment Assistance. If the license is cancelled, revoked, or no longer in use, it must be returned to the licensing authority, which can then grant it to a new applicant under the same conditions. The license must be issued within two years of the effective date of the act, but it can be transferred or re-issued to a new applicant at any time thereafter.
