This bill creates the Artificial Intelligence Impact Task Force to consider issues and propose recommendations regarding protections for consumers and workers from artificial intelligence (AI) systems and automated decision systems. The task force will be composed of 26 members representing various stakeholders, including organizations that advocate for individuals who have experienced algorithmic discrimination, labor organizations, civil liberties groups, disability advocates, technology experts, and representatives from the business community, academia, and government. The task force will study and make recommendations on the definition of key terms, notice and transparency requirements, consumer and worker protections, and other issues related to the use of AI and automated decision systems in Colorado.
