The program will provide free transit passes to students under 25. The Department of Transportation would create an application process by which to award the passes. Landlords may not terminate the lease to avoid this rent cap (the landlord must have "just cause" for eviction, as would be provided in AB1481). SGARs are highly potent rodenticides which bioaccumulate in the food chain and have contaminated many of California's predator species such as mountain lions and Cooper's hawks. There are currently exemptions for agriculture in warehouses, factories, and breweries/wineries and for any public health concerns.

The department (working with other agencies) would then come up with a plan on how to address gaps in information needed for water management and the conservation of freshwater species.

Permits a city or county to develop a provisional license procedure for business license renewals that provides businesses 3 months to comply with these provisions and require the city or county to confirm that the information submitted to demonstrate compliance is valid and corresponds to the business requesting the initial business license or renewal, and to transfer that information to the SWRCB.
SB307 Water conveyance: use of facility with unused capacity. Senate 3rd Reading SB307 Roth et al 05/21/2019 1 Yea This bill would prohibit a transferor of water from using a water conveyance facility that has unused capacity to transfer water from a groundwater basin underlying desert lands that is in the vicinity of specified federal lands or state lands to outside of the groundwater basin unless the State Lands Commission and Department of Fish and Wildlife find that the transfer of the water will not adversely affect the natural or cultural resources of those federal and state lands.
